What managed IT support should do

Less Time Dealing with IT. More Time Running Your Business.

Managed IT support should remove technology problems from your management team's daily workload, not create another supplier that needs managing.

Your Team Gets Help

Employees have somewhere to go when they cannot log in, software stops working, Microsoft 365 causes problems or something simply does not work as it should.

Your IT Is Looked After

Devices, updates, Microsoft 365 and core technology are actively managed rather than being left until something breaks.

Security Is Built In

Cyber security, patching and endpoint protection form part of day-to-day IT management rather than being treated as a separate afterthought.

Someone Takes Responsibility

When an issue crosses Microsoft, broadband, Wi-Fi, software or another supplier, we help identify the problem and coordinate the right people.

What we look after

What Is Included in Managed IT Support?

The exact scope depends on your environment and agreement, but a managed service can bring the core areas of business IT together under one support relationship.

Help with everyday issues including access problems, Microsoft 365, software, printing, connectivity and other technology problems affecting employees.

PCs & Laptops

Management of supported business devices including monitoring, software updates, maintenance and technical support.

Cyber Security

Endpoint protection, patching and practical security controls to reduce risk across users, devices and Microsoft 365.

Supplier Coordination

Help dealing with third-party technology suppliers when an IT issue involves broadband, telecoms, software or another external provider.

IT Advice & Planning

Everyday support

When Someone Has an IT Problem, They Know Who to Contact

Your employees should not have to work out whether an issue belongs to Microsoft, the internet provider, a software vendor or somebody else before asking for help.

Our support team gives users a clear place to raise IT issues, while we investigate the technology behind the problem and help move it towards resolution.

We Do More Than Wait for Something to Break

Reactive support matters, but a managed IT service should also reduce the number of avoidable problems your business experiences in the first place.

We use management and monitoring tools to help keep supported devices maintained, software updated and known issues visible before they become bigger operational problems.

Monitoring Visibility of supported devices and core technology.
Software Updates Helping keep supported systems and applications current.
Security Patching Reducing exposure to known vulnerabilities.
Technology Planning Identifying ageing equipment and upcoming requirements.
Less supplier chasing

One IT Partner, Not Five Different Suppliers

Business IT problems rarely fit neatly into one supplier's box. A connectivity issue might involve the internet provider, Wi-Fi, Microsoft 365 or a line-of-business application. Rather than leaving your team to work that out alone, we help investigate the issue and coordinate with third-party technology suppliers where appropriate.

Cyber Security Is Part of Good IT Support

Cyber security should not sit separately from everyday technology management. Supported devices need updates, users need appropriate access and threats need suitable protection.

Managed IT support FAQs

Common Questions About Managed IT Support

What is managed IT support?
Managed IT support means an external IT provider takes responsibility for agreed areas of your business technology. This can include user support, devices, Microsoft 365, networks, cyber security, monitoring, maintenance and ongoing IT advice.
What is included in Wesson & Co managed IT support?
The exact scope depends on your business and agreement, but managed support can include user helpdesk support, PC and laptop management, Microsoft 365 administration, patching, cyber security, networks, Wi-Fi, supplier coordination, new starter and leaver support and technology planning.
How much does managed IT support cost?
Cost depends on factors such as the number of users and devices, your infrastructure, cyber security requirements and the level of support required. Wesson & Co has a dedicated pricing page where businesses can request an estimate based on their requirements.
Can you manage Microsoft 365?
Yes. Wesson & Co can support Microsoft 365 environments including user accounts, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, permissions and related security settings where these are included within the agreed service.
Do you provide on-site IT support?
Yes. Most everyday issues can be resolved remotely, but our Hinckley base allows us to provide on-site assistance across the Midlands where physical attendance is required and included or agreed within the service.
Can you work with our existing broadband, software and telecoms suppliers?
Yes. Where an IT issue involves another technology supplier, we can help investigate the problem and work with the relevant third party rather than leaving your employees to coordinate technical suppliers themselves.
What are your standard support hours?
Standard support hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Out-of-hours arrangements are available where they form part of a contracted support agreement.
Can you support businesses with more than one office?
Yes. Managed IT support can cover businesses operating across multiple locations, combining remote support with on-site work where required.
Can we use Wesson & Co for an IT project without moving our support?
Yes. IT projects and installations are available separately, so a business can use Wesson & Co for a defined project without changing its existing managed IT provider.
